March is Mature Kitty Month

In an effort to reduce the overwhelming number of cats in our shelter, we are adding some additional adoption incentives:

• Mature Kitty Month will run through the month of March 2008
• We are reducing the adoption fee for all cats that are 2 years or older, both at the shelter and at PetsMart
• This program will run in conjunction with the Adult Companion Program, but the two cannot be combined
• Most, if not all of the cats at PetsMart during the month of March will be 2 years or older
• There are postings and information about Adult Companion and Mature Kitty Month at the shelter, PetsMart and on the website

We have approximately 50 cats that are eligible for Mature Kitty Month. About 12 of those are eligible for adult companion.
